About the library
Monmouth Library is situated in the Victorian Rolls Hall which was originally
given to the people of Monmouth for use as a lecture hall and theatre by the
Rolls Family in 1888. It was refurbished and became a library in 1992.
It houses a comprehensive selection of books and audiobooks for children,
teenagers and adults. There are also collections of DVDs, videos and music for
hire.
There are sixteen computers for public use, offering free access to the Internet,
MS Office, Adobe Photoshop and flatbed scanner plus a range of other software
packages.

- Accessible computer facilities – adjustable workstations and chairs, large
flatscreen monitors, big key keyboards and Microsoft accessibility applications.
- Aladdin reader for customers who need the text in documents or books enlarged.
- Parking for disabled users in front of the library and one space alongside the
building
