Monmouthshire Golf Guide
Monmouth Golf Club is a picturesque 18 hole, par 69 course which was founded in
1896, complete with deer, pheasants and other wildlife. Until 1992, it was a 9 hole
course - at that time it was extended to 18 holes and a new clubhouse built.
Our friendly and welcoming staff offer full catering and bar facilities in the clubhouse,
which
boasts stunning views of the beautiful surrounding countryside. Monmouth Golf
Club is well known for the friendly
welcome offered to visitors by members and staff
alike.
This is one of those golf courses that is both pleasing on the eye and an absolute
delight to play, regardless of your capabilities as a golfer.
There is so much to contend with during your round; cleverly designed doglegs, the
odd water hazard here and there, sand traps when you least expect them and hard-to-hit
elevated greens. It is probably one of the best value-for-money layouts in the region.
