Monmouth Acupuncture
Acupuncture is a serious alternative to modern medicines and
The
Monmouth Natural Health Centre
has all you need!
Lesley Gann graduated from The College of Traditional Chinese Medicine at
Leamington Spa in 1986. Since then she has been practising acupuncture in
Monmouth and Newport and has built up a good reputation at both locations.
When Lesley needed to take time off for most of 2006 she asked Jeff Cross if as
well as building his own practice up he would look after her patients as well.
This was a valuable opportunity for Jeff to broaden his experience and establish
a reputation of his own in Monmouth.
Jeffs’ interest in acupuncture developed when Lesley successfully treated his
daughter for Chronic Fatigue Syndrome. After he graduated from The College of
Integrated Chinese Medicine at Reading in 2005 Lesley invited Jeff to come and
work with her at Monmouth Natural Health Centre.
Acupuncture is a tried and tested system of medicine. The Chinese and other
cultures have been using acupuncture to restore, promote and maintain good
health for thousands of years. Nowadays more and more people are finding this
long established therapy can offer an effective solution to all manner of
today’s ills.
Many people come to acupuncture for help with specific symptoms or conditions.
Others choose acupuncture as a preventative measure to strengthen their
constitution, or because they are feeling generally unwell. Acupuncture is
considered safe for all ages, including babies and children. It can be used
safely alongside conventional medicine.
Lesley and Jeff are happy to have an informal discussion about acupuncture with
anyone who is considering consulting them. They may be contacted through
reception at Monmouth Natural Health Centre.
