Thyrd Eye

Although Monmouth is a fairly musical town it doesn't boast a huge amount of young bands. Fortunately for us though we do have a sibling trio called Thyrd Eye, a hard working band leaving a trail of positive reviews wherever they perform.

With the imminent release of their debut single, don't let the fact that they are a trio fool you, this band can seriously hold their own when it comes to hammering out hard hitting, attention grabbing, alternative music!

With Matt on vocals and guitar, his sister Hannah on bass, keyboards and vocals and brother Gaz on drums and vocals, one minute you're listening to pounding bass and drums with grungy guitar, the next minute you've got a slow, melodious composition leaving you wondering what kind of pigeon hole Thyrd Eye fall in to.

The answer is simple, they don't fall in to any pigeon hole. This is the kind of band that is inclined to follow their instincts and see where it leads them.  As well as being adept at writing quality compositions, when I met up with the band for a chat it was clear that they knew what they were doing on the technical front as well.
